Lusangazi Horticultural Farmers Market Linkages
Project Launch: 12-31-19
This project will provide agriculture tools such as treadle pumps, sprayers, disease resistant seeds, wheelbarrows, and shovels to a group of 20 farmers that grow horticultural crops for sale and consumption. The participants will also be trained in sustainable farming practices such as conservation farming and manure production using locally-available resources. In the end, the farmers will improve their crop quantity and quality, subsequently increasing money earned from the sale of these crops.
