Alakuko ICT Centre
Project Launch: 1-10-24
This World Connect project involves establishing an ICT center for secondary school students in the Alakuko community to address the notable absence of such facilities in both community schools and low-fees privately owned schools. With $3,748.72 from World Connect this project aims to provide students with essential technology and digital literacy skills, acting as a catalyst to fill educational gaps, foster career growth, and contribute to overall success in the community. The initiative is a response to the recognized digital and technology gap that has marginalized students, particularly girls, hindering their access to the opportunities offered by the digital world.
